Program Eligibility

Do you plan to transfer to a 4-year college in a calculus-based math, engineering, or science field?

This includes:

• Biology
• Chemistry
• Physics
• Mathematics
• Engineering
• Computer Science

Acceptable majors will require calculus such as Math 71: Calculus I with Analytic Geometry

At least one of the following is true:

• Your parent(s) do not have a bachelor's degree or higher from any country
• Your high school had low graduation and math performance rates (from California School Dashboard)
• You are an EOPS participant

At least one of the following is true:

• You qualify or receive the CA College Promise Grant (formerly known as BOGW – Board of Governors' Waiver), Federal Pell Grant, Cal Grant, CA Dream Act, Federal Work Study, Cal Fresh, or GI Bill
• You qualify for some other form of need-based/subsidized state or federal financial aid
• You are a EOPS, CARE, or CalWORKs participant
• Your household income is at or below 150% of the federal poverty guidelines
• You or your parent/guardian is a TANF recipient
